YOTEL London City

Yotel has a perfect location for travelers who are using the Luton/Gatwick airports. The place is nice and clean. The rooms are very small thou. My room only had like 14m2 and it is designed to accomodate 3 people. I cannot imagine how 3 people could fit in. When you open a room door, you are basically standing in the bathroom. The toilet is very poorly silenced and ventilated from the rest of the room. So, when one person is using the toilet, the others have to better get out of the room. Also, in my room (1st floor) it was impossible to ventilate the room by openning a window. The windows were sealed, there was no fresh/outside air avaliable, only aircondition.

You'll have a good time if you know what to expect. The location is great, with a convenient tube station within walking distance and decent food options around. The bed is adjustable with buttons on the side so it could function as a couch. The television was great, with options to cast your media to it. Plenty of power outlets, aircon worked like a charm and the rain shower was lovely.

I guess this is what they call a hipster hotel! The hotel gave a very good impression that it is pretty new. Everything looked and felt that. Breakfast was a very decent buffet, especially for London in general. Bed was very comfortable, one of those adjustable beds. Staff was outstanding. Location is a bit of a question mark: On one hand the location in itself is far away from everywhere but on another hand it is with an easy access to just about everywhere. Just don't expect the sights to be outside the door. Farrington station is a very convenient for many underground lines/airports/ThamesLink/Elizabeth line so you get easily to many places.

The location is excellent, being right next to Farringdon underground station, only a couple of stops from Euston. The hotel and area surrounding it felt very safe. The hotel was very modern. While the rooms were compact, they made great use of space. There were good lighting options including a light up mirror. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was spotless. Check in was also quick and easy, and an 11am normal check out time gave plenty time for a long lie.

Perfect location, 2 min walk to Farringdon tube station, or just a 20 min walk to Covent Garden. We arrived in London early morning, went straight to the hotel to leave our bags at their luggage storage (which is free) and go explore, there is a 24hr reception which was great as it meant we could be out all day and checked in later in the evening. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and a really good size! We've stayed in a few hotels in central London and most have been tiny rooms, this hotel definitely offered more space, modern, clean, the most comfortable bed!... and a city view which we did not expect. I would 100% stay here again. My partner and I are planning our next trip to London and we will definitely use this hotel everytime now, it ticks every box!
